On behalf of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA), we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2025 IRSA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), taking place from 30 July – 1 August 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne.
This three-day event will be preceded by the Interventional Oncology Symposium on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, offering a dedicated workshop on all aspects of clinical oncology relevant to interventional radiologists.
We would be delighted for you to join us for this leading gathering of interventional radiology professionals in Melbourne this year.

Winner of the best abstract presentation receives registration to the CIRSE Congress 2025 including return economy flight and 5 nights’ accommodation.
Accepted abstracts for Oral presentation will be published in the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO).
E-poster presentations for Nurses/Radiographers
Winner of the best e-poster receives a prize of $2000AUD . Accepted abstracts will be published in JMIRO.
Oral Presentation for Medical Student’s/Junior Doctors*
Best presentation wins complimentary registration to IRSA ASM 2026
General abstract submission for Oral presentation*
Accepted abstracts for Oral presentation will be published in JMIRO
*Abstracts not accepted for oral presentation will be accepted for an e-poster presentation but will not be submitted to JMIRO and are ineligible for the respective prizes.
