Due to COVID-19’s unprecedented impact, the upcoming congress will be hosted virtually for the first time.
The 2021 edition will be held online from February 26 to 27, featuring a two-day comprehensive program with high-level scientific content consisting of interactive educational sessions, keynote and plenary talks, live and recorded cases, and a Breaking News segment. European Liquid Embolic Course

Liquid embolization is currently used more and more by IRs, out of neuro embolization. High embolic efficiency and good clinical results are the main strengths of liquid embolic agents. However, liquid managements and practices are different and a bit more complex than using conventional coils or particles. The ELEC, European Liquid Embolic Course, an annual event to support all IR willing to learn and develop this innovative techniques into their daily practice.
EBIR Australia and New Zealand 2020 – COVID-19 update
Update regarding EBIR exam on August 10, 2020 in Queenstown
After careful consideration of the conditions surrounding the continuing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty regarding the severity and duration of restrictions on travel and gatherings globally, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the EBIR Queenstown examination which was scheduled to take place on August 10, 2020.
Candidates who are registered for the August 10 examination have been contacted by CIRSE accordingly. If you are registered and have not received any correspondence, please contact email@example.com.
The EBIR examination on September 11, 2020 in Munich is scheduled to take place as planned.
Registrar Conference 2020 – POSTPONED until further notice
Update: In the best interest of public health, due to the COVID-19 virus, the 2020 IRSA Registrar Conference that was planned for 13-14 June on the Sunshine Coast is postponed until further notice.
