Dr Pilgrim is an HPB and trauma surgeon at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He is a serving Lieutenant Colonel and military surgeon with the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps and a senior trauma instructor and examiner for RACS. He is also a senior lecturer at Monash University, and a member of the RACS Academy of Surgical Educators
