On behalf of the IRSA Executive, we wish to congratulate Dr Murthy Chennapragada, who has recently been awarded a Fellowship of SIR.
Fellowship status in the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) is one of the most prestigious honours awarded by the Society. It is a testament to the Fellow’s exceptional contributions to the field and remarkable achievements including strong leadership in clinical research, expertise in the field of IR, teaching ability, and numerous accomplishments, resulting in significant contributions to the knowledge of interventional radiology which helps all interventional radiologists provide improved care to their patients.
The award of Fellowship recognises active participation and celebrates the Fellows’ leadership in the activities of the Society of Interventional Radiology, which reflects their passion for the specialty.
Fellowship status, a distinction bestowed on less than ten per cent of SIR members, is a testament to the Fellows’ significant achievements.
